Responsibilities
- I am the team leader of the group 4o4 and the business analyst delivering sustainable business model.
What I contributed
- Developed the business model for MedEase, a pharmacy management and AI assistant prototype built within 24 hours.
- Focused on solving pharmacy pain points such as manual inventory tracking, low stock visibility, and inefficient supplier coordination.
- Designed a sustainable subscription-based model ensuring stable recurring revenue to maintain operations and support continuous improvement of the platform.
- Proposed scalable expansion paths such as data insights for distributors/government and optional advanced analytics add-ons to increase long-term product value.
- Ensured the business model aligned with real-world use cases, long-term product viability, and measurable benefits for small to medium pharmacies.
Challenges
- One of the challenges of that hackathon is that it is our first time participating one.
- We did not expect that is a 24 hour coding with no sleeping.
Outcome
- We have a delivered a working prototype named MedEasie, an AI based Pharmacy Inventory Solution.
- We have used the Rev21 labs API microservice for AI assistant for the owner with their inventory and sales.
Lessons learned
- Practice, practice, practice
- Don't focus too much on winning, focus also in networking with fellow developers.
